Europa League is finally back with last 32 stage. Lots of interesting matches. In the following post tips, reviews and multiple bets for Roma - Feyenoord, Villareal - Salzburg, Sevilla - Borussia Monchengladbach, Tottenham - Fiorentina.
ROMA - FEYENOORD
Roma is undergoing a really bad period, the worst under Garcia's management. Actually its opponent is not living its best moments, after 2 loss in the last three Eredivisie matches, the last in Almelo against Heracles ( 2-0) which is far from being a good team with its 49 goals conceded. Basically this is a match among two teams on crysis. Roma has finally Gervinho back after African Cup, but he wasn't enough to avoid the home draw against the last of the league on last Sunday ( 0-0, Parma). Our opinion is Roma will win after a fighted match because Feyenoord has lost 9 of the last 11 away European matches and Roma is stronger and plays in its Olimpico Stadium.
POSSIBLE SCORE: 1-0
ROMA: Skorupski, Torosidis, Manolas, Yanga-Mbiwa,
Holebas, Pjanic, De Rossi, Nainggolan, Ljajic, Totti, Gervinho.
FEYENOORD: Vermeer, Boulahrouz, Mathijsen, Kongolo, Nelom, Clasie, Vilhena, Toornstra, Immers, Boetius, Kazim-Richards.
VILLAREAL - SALZBURG
Villareal lost 2-0 against Rayo Vallecano in the last Liga round, and they currently occupy the 6th position in the league. Salzburg "had" the best pair of forwarders of the current Europa League ( Alan with 8 goals and Soriano with 5)..."had" because during the transfermarket of the winter season Alan was sold to Guangzhou and Kampl went to Borussia Dortmund. Our sensation is Villareal will try to score as much as possible considering it will be hard to keep its goal untouched in the second match in Austria due to the offensive attitude of Salzburg.
POSSIBLE SCORE: 2-1
VILLAREAL: Asenjo; Mario, Musacchio, Ruiz, Jaume Costa; Pina, Trigueros,
Jonathan Dos Santos, Cheryshev; Giovani Dos Santos, Vietto.
SALZBURG: Gulacsi; Schwegler, Ramalho, Hinteregger, Ulmer; Lazaro, Leitgeb, Ilsanker, Bruno; Soriano, Sabitzer.
SEVILLA - BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH
Sevilla, the holder of the last Europa League is not on shape in the last appearances. Borussia is a vvery tough team to face, third team in Bundesliga. It concedes few goals, it has an excellent goalie ( Yann Sommer) and a good organization in the midfield. What is missing for this squad is surely an high level striker.
Borussia is almost unbeatable when plays at home but struggles a lot when playing away ( last seven away matches trend: 1 Win, 2 Draw, 4 Loss). Sevilla also has a lot of absences ( the goalie Beto, Coke Moreno, Mbia and Iago Aspas). Sevilla's last match lost at home was on March 2014, so much time...a factor not to be undervalued and combined to the bad quality performances in Borussia's away matches our opinion tend on the 1.
POSSIBLE SCORE: 1-0
SIVIGLIA: Rico; Vidal, Pareja, Carriço, Navarro; Krychowiak, Iborra;
Reyes, Banega, Vitolo; Bacca.
GLADBACH: Sommer; Korb, Stranzl, Jantschke, Dominguez; Kramer, Xhaka; Traoré, Herrmann; Raffael; Kruse.
TOTTENHAM - FIORENTINA
Tottenham is fresh because Premier League was not scheduled on last Sunday. Spurs are playing really good and they proved it recently against Arsenal and Liverpool, making two wonderful matches with a superb Kane ( 23 goals and 5 assists in this season). Fiorentina will try to keep ball possession in order to balance the physical disadvantage much higher in the english team. Generally speaking, both teams are scoring and conceding goals very happily in the last appearances and considering all the difficulties Fiorentina's defence has when playing away, we tend for the 1X and GOAL.
TOTTENHAM: Lloris, Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies, Paulinho, Bentaleb,
Lamela, Dembelé, Eriksen, Kane.
FIORENTINA: Tatarusanu; Richards, Savic, Rodriguez, Pasqual; Borja Valero, Pizarro, Mati Fernandez; Salah, Mario
