CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: PORTO - BASEL

First round ended 1-1 in Switzerland. In this post tips and review of Porto - Basel.

PORTO - BASEL

1-1 in Basel is a good result for Porto, since a 0-0 draw will give them the qualification.

In the first round, Porto showed to have the best squad.

Portuguese team is not forced to score at any cost and for that the first half should be poor of goals, because Basel will not have occasions to hit counterattacking and Porto will probably make a lot of ball possession at the beginning.

Porto is on shape: 7 wins in the last 8 played matches.

Porto dominated the first round: 7 vs 1 shoots on target, 9 vs 0 corner kicks and 60% of ball possession.

Jackson Martinez is injured and will not take part of the match and he will be substituted by Aboubakar, a very talented forwarder, whose main traits are pace and acceleration.

Basel will probably will try to stay on the defensive during the first half but obviously they will have to attack if the results stays the same during the second half.

PORTO: Fabiano, Alex Sandro, Maicon, Marcano, Danilo, Casemiro, Herrera, Neves, Brahimi, Tello, Aboubakar.
BASEL: Vaclík, T Xhaka, Samuel, Schar, Safari, Frei, Elneny, González, Zuffi, Gashi, Streller.
