In this post tips and review of Bayern Munchen - Porto. First leg in Portugal ended 3-1.
BAYERN MUNCHEN - PORTO
First match saw portuguese team winning with a great 3-1.
Bayern suffered a lot its main absences on the pitch: Alaba, Robben, Ribery, Benatia and Schweinsteiger.
After first leg, Bayern's doctor resigned after Guardiola's negative critiques.
The problem is these players are all still unavailable and that is a huge lack for german team in terms of pace: Alaba, Robben and Ribery are the ones who can decide the match with a piece of skill or simply giving speed to the offensive actions.
The risk without these players is Bayern will make a lot of ball possession which can hardly be useful in terms of goals.
Bayern tends to play with a very high baricenter and that could be dangerous since Porto's forwarders have already shown they can hit counterattacking,
In our opinion Bayern will have the best but we are not that sure about their qualification for the semifinals, since Porto has a good defensive organization and very fast players perfect to hit counterattacking. A lot will depend by the minute of first goal.
It is a very open match and goals are expected.
