31st round of Bundesliga. In this post tips and review of Saturday matches.
HOFFENHEIM - BORUSSIA DORTMUND
Both teams are fighting for a place in Europa League.
They both play a very offensive football, scoring and conceding a lot of goals.
Indeed last 7 matches between these teams ended OVER 2.5.
Borussia will play with a very high baricenter, pressing in any zone of the pitch, while Hoffenheim will try to hit counterattacking with the pace of Roberto Firmino and Volland.
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE seems to be the safest choice for this match.
HOFFENHEIM: Baumann, Beck, Abraham, Bicakcic, Toljan,
Rudy, Schwegler, Polanski, Volland, Roberto Firmino, Modeste.
BORUSSIA DORTMUND: Langerak, Durm, Sokratis, Hummels, Schmelzer, S. Bender, Gündogan, Blaszczykowski, Reus, H. Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang.
WERDER BREMEN - EINTRACHT FRANKFURT
It is probably going to be a match with lots of goals since both teams like to be very offensive and mainly they are in a safe position in Bundesliga.
Werder and Eintracht are both sure to stay for the next league. To say the truth, they are still fighting for a place in Europa ( there are chances that 7th place will give the Europa League qualification).
It is going to be a very open match between the two most beaten defenses in Bundesliga and Werder has some absences: Santiago Garcia, Vestergaard, Caldirola and Alejandro Galvez, all injured.
Werder and Eintracht are respectively 3rd and 1st in the OVER 2.5 standings and 1st and 2nd in the OVER 3.5 one...Goals should not be missing.
WERDER BREMEN: Casteels, Gebre Selassie, Prödl, Lukimya,
Sternberg, Bargfrede, Fritz, Junuzovic, Aycicek, Selke, di Santo.
EINTRACHT FRANKFURT: Trapp, Chandler, Zambrano, Anderson, Oczipka, Aigner, Stendera, Hasebe, Kittel, Valdez, Seferovic.
WOLFSBURG - HANNOVER
Hannover is on crysis: 14 matches without a win and now the situation is really tough since they are only 1 point above relegation.
They have conceded 40 goals in the last 19 matches and in the last 14 has always conceded at least 1 goal.
Morale is really down for the away team, while Wolfsburg needs a win to secure the 2nd place.
Considering the awful performances showed by Hannover during this 2015 and the fact that Wolfsburg has never lost a home match in Bundesliga, home win is very likely.
WOLFSBURG: Benaglio, Vieirinha, Naldo, Klose, Rodriguez,
Luiz Gustavo, Arnold, Perisic, De Bruyne, Schürrle, Dost.
HANNOVER: Zieler, Schmiedebach, Marcelo, C. Schulz, Albornoz, S. Sané, Andreasen, Ya Konan, Kiyotake, Prib, Joselu.
BAYER LEVERKUSEN - BAYERN MUNCHEN
Bayern was eliminated from DFB Pokal by Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday and the bad news are that both Robben and Lewandovski got an injury and will not be available for the semifinal against Barcelona.
Bayern has arithmetically won the Bundesliga and Guardiola is going to make a lot of turnover for this match.
Considering also the infinite list of injured players and the great shape of Bayer Leverkusen we do not expect the away win here.
Bayer is fighting to reach the 3rd place in order to avoid Champions League preliminaries and in our opinion they are going to show another great performance.
1X sounds interesting (1.39).
BAYER LEVERKUSEN: Leno, Hilbert, Toprak, Jedvaj, Wendell, L.
Bender, Rolfes, Bellarabi, Calhanoglu, Son, Kießling.
BAYERN MUNCHEN: Reina, Rafinha, J. Boateng, Dante, Weiser, Schweinsteiger, Gaudino, Rode, M. Götze, Kurt, Pizarro.
