Sevilla, one of the best european teams of the last decade, has the chance to win the 4th Europa League in its history, establishing a record:  Sevilla has conquered this trophy 3 times, the same amount of triumphs collected by Inter, Juventus and Liverpool.

It would also be the second win in a row, after last year's success, but this wouldn't be another record since Sevilla had won 2 consecutive editions also in the seasons 2005/06 and 2006/2007.

Is Sevilla favourite for the win?

Yes, it is and quite a lot, both for the conviction in its skills and the objective superiority.

All the bookmakers offer spanish team win with odds around 1.65 while Dnipro's win odds are 6.00 , 6.50.

Considering this is a final, the odds are very unusual, but it does not surprise us.

Sevilla is the most winning team of the recent history of Europa League (3 titles in the last 9 years), against a team that has collected only 1 point in the first 3 group stage matches.

Sevilla has collected 10 wins in the 14 played matches, scoring 26 goals, while Dnipro has won 6 matches scoring only 13 goals.

Why is Dnipro in the final?

Because they have a good and solid defensive organization, a good goalkeeper and they make a lot of pressing.

Basically Dnipro does not play a good football and actually tries to make their opponents play bad as happened in the previous rounds where urkainian team eliminated Olympiakos, Ajax, Club Brugge and Napoli.

Dnipro has always played an iper defensive match when playing away and scoring goals in its home stadium, the most of the times counterattacking.

Only one away win during this edition of Europa League against Qarabag, which is far away from being a decent team.

A good thing for Dnipro is that most of the players are ukrainian and they have been playing together for long time (also in the national team).

There are also some skilled players, Konoplyanka above all the rest, but also forwarders Matheus and Kalinic are not bad and mainly they know how to score (if they have a chance).

Sevilla's good shape

Sevilla has lost only once in the last 21 matches played. It ended the Liga in the 5th place and that means Sevilla is forced to win in order to take part to the next Champions League.

Attacking players are really skilled and it is a pleasure to see them playing with their fast counterattacks. Sevilla does not have a perfect defensive organization, but usually the lacks showed by the defense are balanced by the top class skills of the attackers (Banega, Vidal, Reyes and Iborra) supporting the forwarder Carlos Bacca (26 goals scored in the season) or his substitute Gameiro (17 goals).

Sevilla has showed they can score to any team during this season, but this time they will probably encounter the same complications met by Napoli in the semifinal.

The only scenario where this match will be balanced is a clamorous and unexpected episode in favour of Dnipro (the ball is round), but in our opinion Sevilla will have the best in the end.

Considering the good defensive organization of the ukrainian team, we like DRAW/SEVILLA TO WIN HALF/FULL TIME.
