HAMBURGER - KARLSRUHE

Hamburger has never been relegated in Zweite Liga in its long history.

It's the second season in a row they are forced to play the playoffs against the third team of the german second division in order to keep their place in Bundesliga.

Karlsruhe has played a great season, collecting 29 points in its away matches (the best team in the away matches table), scoring 27 goals in 17 appearances.

Hamburger, after the change of coach, has always scored at least 1 goal in the last 5 matches played, but at the same time has always conceded at least a goal for the last 10 games, exception made for the last Bundesliga round against a demotivated Schalke 04.

Karlsruhe, being a lower division team, is surely the underdog, but its players are very good when counterattacking and Hennings has proved to be a good striker (17 goals in Zweite Liga) on several occasions.

Hamburger will have Olic and Lasogga available, but Gotz, Behrami, Drobny and Jansen  are still all injured.

We choose Hamburger double chance, but we also like both teams to score.
