Chile has never conquered a Copa America in its 99 years of history.

Chile has always ended this competition among the first 4 teams in the  previous 6 occasions they had been the host and considering this is probably the strongest team Chile has ever had, we expect they will make a good impression.

The goalie, Bravo, gives safety, Jara assures defensive solidity, Medel's muscles, Pizarro's great vision, the fantasy of Valdivia and David Pizarro and the presence of two top players such as Vidal and Sanchez let us think Chile will go far in this competition.

What is missing is probably a top level striker, since Pinilla is very skilled but often discontinous and Angelo Henriquez is still very young.

Coach Sampaoli will probably adopt a very offensive 4-3-3 where midfielders and forwarders will often change their positions leaving the opponent's defense without reference points.

Ecuador is a good team but unfortunately they have lost 3 very important players: Antonio Valencia, Felipe Caicedo and Angel Mena all injured.

Ecuador will adopt a 4-4-2 where the lateral midfielders will be Jefferson Montero and Fidel Martinez, both very offensive and the strikers will be Enner Valencia and Miller Bolanos.

The problems are in the defense which often lacks of organization and also the goalie, Alexander Dominguez, tends to make mistakes.

We expect to see a match where goals should not be missing and Chile to win since they are surely stronger than the opponent and will be supported by a whole stadium.
