Chile-Uruguay is the first quarterfinal of Copa America's KO stage.

Starting from now there will probably be much more attention to the defensive phase, much more fear to be eliminated and probably less show and much more irritability because there is no more possibility to make mistakes.

There is a new format in case of a draw after the 90 minutes: penalty kicks directly without extra time.

This clash is probably going to be far away from being pleasant, since all Uruguay's matches are not spectacular and its gamestyle is very similar to Atletico Madrid's one.
Uruguay has two central backs Godin and Gimenez who are very skilled and generally speaking Uruguay has a good defensive organization and the team tends to make a lot of pressing for the whole match and draws upon tactical fouls very often.

Another good uruguayan characteristic is the quality in dead balls occasion both while defending and attacking.

Indeed the last goal scored vs Paraguay has come in a corner kick situation thanks to a header of the central back Gimenez. Chile could undergo a lot of risks in this kind of situation since Uruguay has a lot of skilled players in aerial abilities while Chile not and chilean player's average height is only 175 cm (1.80 cm the opponents).

Chile has had the best attack of the competition till now with 10 goals scored but it is not going to be easy to score a goal tonight. Chile's manouvers are mainly made of midfielder's insertions and Uruguay has the midfield and defense lines really close giving few empty spaces to the opponents.

Both teams have lot of players who tend to make lots of fouls and we expect a lot of yellow cards here and why not also a red one.

In our opinion Chile is stronger than Uruguay but in any case we do not expect to see lots of goals in this clash and we prefer UNDER 2.5 as basic bet, but at the same time we believe Chile will have the best.

CHILE: Bravo, Isla, Medel, Jara, Mena, Aranguiz, Diaz, Vidal, Valdivia, Vargas, Sanchez
URUGUAY: Muslera, Fucile, Godin, Gimenez, M. Pereira, Rodriguez, Rios, Gonzalez, Sanchez, Cavani, Rolán.
