In this post, tips and previews of England-Italy and Portugal-Sweden, the last matches of the group B of the European Under 21 Championship 2015 hosted in Czech Republic.
ENGLAND - ITALY
Italy played 2 convincing matches vs Sweden and Portugal and does not deserve to be the last team in the group B.
In the first match vs Sweden Italy played a great first half. The 1-1 goal arrived in a dead ball occasion and till that moment Sweden hadn't had shoot attempts.
Against Portugal, Italy was really unlucky, creating a lot of possibilities to score.
Coach Di Biagio will put Romagnoli as central back who will compose a good defense together with Rugani in order to limit Harry Kane (the best forwarder of this Championship).
Cataldi and Benassi in the midfield showed a great performance vs Portugal and they will be confirmed.
Belotti, the striker has been unlucky till now but he his performances have been very convincing, giving everything in both previous matches.
Berardi is a top player and can make the difference anytime.
Italy is forced to play offensive with the knowledge that a win could not be enough(they have to hope that Portugal wins vs Sweden).
England has Stones back available in the defense but Pritchard will be missing in the midfield and in our opinion this is an important absence because Pritchard can assure quality and fantasy for english manouvers. This absence together with Berahino's one are really heavy for english team.
It will be an intense fight, but we believe in an italian positive result.
ENGLAND: Butland, Garbutt, Gibson, Stones, Jenkinson, Ward-Prowse, Chalobah, Redmond, Carroll, Lingard, Kane.
ITALY: Bardi, Biraghi, Romagnoli, Rugani, Zappacosta, Cataldi, Viviani, Benassi, Belotti, Berardi, Trotta.
ITALY DOUBLE CHANCE (1.44, PaddyPower)
OVER 1.5 (1.32, PaddyPower)
OVER 1.5 2nd HALF (2.30, PaddyPower)
PORTUGAL - SWEDEN
Portugal has showed to be one of the best teams of this competition: great quality in the midfield, very good tactical organization and a reliable goalkeeper.
William Carvalho and Bernardo Silva make the difference and also Joao Mario and Manè are really dangerous with their pace and in our opinion the only defect of this team is the lack of a good striker.
Sweden conceded only 2 goals but was very lucky in the first 2 matches.
Yeah they showed a great competitiveness but nothing more.
Lucky vs Italy, against England they played really bad deserving the defeat.
Guidetti and Thelin are skilled players, true, but they have never been assisted by the midfield which has few qualities.
If portuguese team is not satisfied with a draw(enough for passing this group stage), it will easily beat Sweden.
PORTUGAL: Sa, Guerreiro, Ilori, Oliveira, Esgaio, Neves, William Carvalho, Joao Mário, Bernardo Silva, Manè, Medeiros.
SWEDEN: Carlgren, Helander, Baffo, Milosevic, Augustinsson, Hiljemark, Lewicki, Khalili, Larsson, Thelin, Guidetti.
PORTUGAL TO WIN (1.80, PaddyPower)
