In this post betting tips and preview of Bolivia-Peru, the second quarterfinal of the Copa America.
BOLIVIA - PERU
Bolivia is, along with Jamaica, the weakest team of the competition.
During the group stage Bolivia has showed all its limits in defensive phase, offensive phase and in its manouvers, but in any case has collected 4 points enough to play the quarterfinals.
Bolivia has only 2 good players: the goalie, Quinonez and the forwarder Marcelo Martins.
Quinonez has been decisive till now with its saves althought its team has the most beaten defense of the Copa America with 8 goals conceded.
Marcelo Martins Moreno is very good in the aerial game and generally speaking he knows how to score. The problem is that he is not the kind of player who starts dribbling opponents and then shoots from the distance, he is just good in finalizing the chances he has and its team doesn't help him a lot in this: Bolivia is the team that has collected less shoots attempts (18), less ball possession (34,7%) and less completed passes (only 65,5% of the total).
Peru is surely stronger not only because of the higher skilled players but mainly because is much better tactically organized in the defense.
In the midfield Ballon and Lobaton are both banned and those are two important absences since both players are very good in pressing, but considering that Bolivia will only think about making a defensive match, these absences will probably be not that heavy.
We do not expect to see a funny match tonight: it is probably going to be less nervous match than Chile-Uruguay, but UNDER 2.5 should be the basic bet.
Who wishes to bet on the winner, yeah Peru is the favourite.
BOLIVIA: Quiñónez, Rodríguez, Raldes, Coimbra, Morales, Chumacero, Veizaga, Pedriel, Escobar, Smedberg, Marcelo Martins.
PERÙ: Gallese, Advíncula, Zambrano, Ascues, Vargas, Farfán, Sánchez, Yotún, Cueva, Pizarro, Guerrero.
