In this post betting tips and previews of Serie A matches scheduled on Sunday: Atalanta-Frosinone, Carpi-Inter, Chievo-Lazio, Genoa-Verona and Roma-Juventus.
Frosinone's trnsfermarket hasn't been convincing. The new arrivals don't seem to be skilled.
This team mainly counts on high pressing, big enthusiasm and competitiveness but this is not enough to play decent season in Serie A.
Atalanta has kept the same team of the previous season with few new players such as Toloi, Kurtic and De Roon.
Both teams have similar characteristics: very tough teams, with players who tend to committ a lot of fouls and used to receive yellow cards.
That's why we like RED CARD YES here.
It shouldn't be a pleasant match.
Atalanta is surely favourite but we choose ATALANTA DOUBLE CHANCE which looks quite a safe bet.
ATALANTA: Sportiello; Masiello, Stendardo, Toloi, Dramé; Kurtic, De Roon, Migliaccio; Moralez, Pinilla, Gomez.
FROSINONE: Leali; Rosi, Diakitè, Blanchard, Crivello; Paganini, Gori, Gucher, Soddimo; Longo, Dionisi.
ATALANTA DOUBLE CHANCE (1.20 Matchbook)
RED CARD YES (3.25 Matchbook)
PINILLA TO SCORE ANYTIME (2.70 Matchbook)
CARPI - INTER
Carpi lost the first round 5-2 in Genova vs Sampdoria.
The team has lost many players during the last transfermarket and the new arrivals havent raised the skills level.
Carpi can't play in its stadium because it doesn't respect the legal standards.
Carpi will stay on the defensive.
Home team can't count on three players: Mbakogu, Lollo and Romagnoli.
Inter still has some problems to be solved, but seems to be much more solid in the defense compared to last season and this should be enough for obtaining a win tomorrow.
CARPI: Brkic; Gagliolo, Spolli, Bubnjic; Wallace, Bianco, Fedele, Marrone, Gabriel Silva; Matos, Wilczek.
INTER: Handanovic; Santon, Miranda, Murillo, D’Ambrosio; Guarin, Medel, Kondogbia; Brozovic, Jovetic, Palacio.
AWAY WIN (1.80, Sporting Bet)
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE NO (1.97, Sporting Bet)
CHIEVO - LAZIO
Lazio has a better physical condition than Chievo since it has started the peparation much earlier than most of the italian teams in order to be ready for Champions League playoffs.
Chievo has started the season with a good result: away win in Empoli.
Actually Chievo didn't play an excellent match vs Empoli, and the win occurred thanks to the several mistakes of the opponent.
Lazio is much stronger and organized team than Empoli and considering also two important absences in Chievo's midfield (Izco and Radovanovic) we choose the AWAY WIN which has great odds (2.25)
CHIEVO: Bizzarri; Frey, Dainelli, Cesar, Gobbi; Castro, Rigoni, Hetemaj, Birsa; Meggiorini; Paloschi.
LAZIO: Berisha; Basta, De Vrij, Gentiletti, Radu; Parolo, Cataldi, Lulic; Candreva, Keita, Felipe Anderson
AWAY WIN (2.25, Betfair)
GENOA - VERONA
This will probably be a pleasant match where goals should not be missing.
Genoa will be disposed with a 3-4-3, while Verona with a 4-3-3.
From a tactical point of view, matches between teams coached by Gasperini and Mandorlini are often full of goals and indeed in the previous season the first match ended 2-2 while the second saw Genoa having the best 5-2.
Also tomorow BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE and OVER 2.5 should occur.
GENOA: Lamanna; De Maio, Burdisso, Marchese; Cissokho, Rincon, Tino Costa, Laxalt; Lazovic, Pavoletti, Pandev.
VERONA: Rafael; Pisano, Moras, Marquez, Souprayen; Sala, Greco, Hallfredsson; Gomez, Toni, Jankovic.
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (1.72, PaddyPower)
ROMA - JUVENTUS
Roma, exception made for Strootman and the new player Rudiger, has all the players available.
Juventus, instead, has two heavy absences: Khedira and Marchisio. Looking at last season midfield (Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio) and the actual one (Pogba, Sturaro, Pereyra) we notice a clear weakening.
Maybe Juventus is still the favourite for the win of the league but surely this Serie A is much more balanced than the previous seasons.
Roma is a bit favourite in this clash for some reasons: first of all the game is held in Olimpico Stadium, the lineups has no lacks and has also good reserves ready to help in case of need. Juventus instead is penalized because of the two absences in the midfield and also Morata is not in the best condition.
We choose ROMA DOUBLE CHANCE.
ROMA: Szczesny; Maicon (Florenzi), Castan, Manolas, Digne; Pjanic, Keita (De Rossi), Nainggolan; Gervinho (Florenzi), Dzeko, Salah.
JUVENTUS: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Lichtsteiner, Padoin, Pogba, Sturaro, Evra; Mandzukic, Dybala.
ROMA DOUBLE CHANCE (1.48, PaddyPower)
