In this post betting tips, previews and starting lineups of Group D EURO2016 qualifiers: Georgia-Scotland, Gibraltar-Ireland and Germany-Poland.
GEORGIA - SCOTLAND
Georgia has lost 5 of the 6 group stage matches played till now. Exception made for the three goals scored vs Gibraltar, Georgia hasn't scored for four matches in a row.
Georgian only available tactic is thinking about defending considered the weak abilities of the team in creating offensive manouvers.
Scotland usually does not offer great performances when playing away but in this group stage Scotland has always scored at least 1 goal each match and vs this Georgia could be enough.
We choose AWAY WIN.
GEORGIA: Loria, Lobjanidze, Kashia, Amisulasvili, Khizanishvili, Navalovski, Okriashvili, Ananidze, Kobakhidze, Kankava, Mchedlidze.
SCOTLAND: Marshall, Hutton, Martin, Mulgrew, Robertson, Ritchie, Brown, Morrison, Maloney, Naismith, Fletcher.
AWAY WIN (2.05 Matchbook)
SCOTLAND DOUBLE CHANCE (1.25 Matchbook)
UNDER 2.5 (1.51 Matchbook)
GIBRALTAR - IRELAND
Gibraltar's objective is to avoid to lose an official match for the first time in its history.
Gibraltar, along with Andorra, is the only team who has always lost till now but has the most beaten defense with 34 goals conceded.
Hard to find decent odds in terms of betting.
We suggest AWAY WIN HALF/FULL TIME but odds are really low, so maybe better choose a possible goalscorer and we prefer WALTERS TO SCORE ANYTIME.
GIBRALTAR: Perez, Chipolina J., Casciaro R., Chipolina R., Garcia, Casciaro K., Bardon, Walker, Gosling, Casciaro L., Duarte.
IRELAND: Given, Coleman, Brady, Wilson, O’Shea, McCarthy, Whelan, McClean, Hoolahan, Walters, Keane.
AWAY WIN HALF TIME / AWAY WIN FULLTIME (1.15, 888Sport)
WALTERS TO SCORE ANYTIME (1.44, 888Sport)
GERMANY - POLAND
Poland occupies the first position in the Group D. The first leg saw polish team having the best vs the World Champions.
Poland has a very skilled team composed of lots of top players such as Lewandowski, Piszczek, Blaszczykowski but also Glik, Krychowiak and Milik who made a great last season.
Germany hasn't impressed in the last period. In the last two friendlies Germany was unable to win (2-2 vs Australia and 1-2 loss vs United States).
Germany's gamestyle is very offensive and the objective is to score more than opponents and betting on BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE sounds interesting vs Poland.
Ozil and Schurrle haven't played good lately and as usual the favourite to score should be Muller who has already started this season scoring a lot.
GERMANY: Neuer, Rudy, J. Boateng, Hummels, Hector, B. Schweinsteiger, T. Kroos, Schurrle, Özil, M. Götze, T. Müller.
POLAND: Fabianski, Piszczek, Glik, Szukala, Jedrzejczyk, Grosicki, Krychowiak, Jodlowiec, Rybus, Lewandowski, Milik.
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE (2.05, Betfair)
OVER 2.5 (1.68, Betfair)
MULLER TO SCORE ANYTIME (1.80, Betfair)
