Previews and betting tips for the UCL 3rd Round 2nd Legs scheduled on Tuesday 2 August.

Qarabag achieved their objective on last week in Czech Republic vs Viktoria Plzen.
They played a real defensive match giving up any intention to counterattack but the 0-0 draw was a good result for the Azeri team.
In our opinion Qarabag is still not the favourite to progress mainly because they really struggle in creating shoot attempts and Viktoria Plzen are surely more skilled in organizing the manouvers and containing the opponents.
We hardly believe to see Qarabag adopting an offensive approach from the beginning. Probably the 1st half will be boring and we like UNDER 1.5 1st HALF.
Choosing the winner here is not that eay but we still have a preference for the visitors: VIKTORIA PLZEN DOUBLE CHANCE @ 1.40 sounds interesting in a acca bet.

Rosenborg dominated the first leg although the 1 goal margin win (2-1).
The truth is that APOEL scored a goal having shot only once in the whole match.
The 1st leg result leave the outcome still uncertain but we are confident that Norwegians will progress.
Eliteserien is in the middle of the season and Rosenborg can count on a great physical condition while APOEL have not started Cyprus League yet (20 August the 1st Round).
Moreover, Rosenborg have been unable to score only in one match since April and then it would be very difficult for APOEL to win 1-0 (the first useful result to reach the next stage).
Rosenborg still can not rely on their goalie still injured while APOEL will be on the pitch with an offensive lineup with both de Camargo and Efrem since the 1'.

Dinamo Zagreb had the best 2-0 in Croatia securing the ticket for the next stage.
Dinamo Tblisi showed good tactical organization and also a functional offensive phase and the away game in Georgia will not be an easy day trip for the Croatians.
Georgians have a great home trend: 26 wins in the last 27 matches held at Boris Paichadze Stadium: ok Georgian football is not that big reality but such a tendency is still respectable.
Dinamo Zagreb to reach the next round without a win in Tblisi.

The first leg between Ludogorets Razgrad and Red Star was a nice show (2-2) and also this second meeting in Serbia is expected to be so.
Ludogorets are forced to being offensive in order to progress to the next stage: they need a win or a draw with at least 2 goals to play the extra times.
Both teams' defenses appeared to be not that efficient on last week, but at the same time there are a lot of good offensive players.
Red Star usually adopt a 3-5-1-1: it might look kinda defensive scheme but actually it is the opposite. Indeed both lateral backs, Kitai and Mouche have clearly offensive traits. The problems in the defense are mainly attributable to this offensive gamestyle: Red Star have always conceded a goal in any official match of the season (7 goals in 5 matches).
Ludogorets had more ball possession on last week and they created a lot of goal attempts but also here the defense struggle a lot.
Both teams have rested enough since Ludogorets saw their league match postponed while Red Star made a lot of turnover in the Friday win over Metalac.
We choose both teams to score.

Dundalk resisted over 70' before conceding BATE the decisive goal of the first match.
Although the 1 goal margin, BATE dominated the opponents: 74% ball possession, 10 corner kicks, 24 shoot attempts and 11 of them in the goal: in short it is just a case they only scored once.
Dundalk do not have real chances to progress. The technical gap is really wide and BATE are much more experienced to compete in international matches.
If Dundalk want to try to progress they must avoid to concede a goal otherwise the challenge would become impossible.
If the first half ends 0-0, Dundalk will surely try to score but in that case BATE will probably take advantage of the empty spaces left by the opponents trying to secure the qualification.
