Premier League Week 19 Match Previews

Betting tips, previews and accumulator of Premier League matches scheduled on Saturday 31st December.

The midpoint of the season hits this weekend with the final set of matches to end both 2016 and the first half of the 2016-17 season.

Premier League Week 19 starts on Friday with Hull City-Everton and ends on Sunday with two matches: Watford-Tottenham and Arsenal-Crystal Palace but we analyzed the seven fixtures scheduled on Saturday.

Burnley won 1-0 over Middlesbrough in the Boxing Day and their next clash, against Sunderland, is still on home soil.
Clarets have already obtained 19 points from their 10 matches played at Turf Moor so far (6W-1D-3-L) and only four teams in the league have taken more points from home matches this season.
Sunderland's performances have improved recently but their poor away trend (1 wins in last 9 away matches) could be decisive here.
Burnley are favourite in a match expected to be poor of goals.

Leicester are only three points above the bottom three and have only won one of their last nine Premier League games.
Ranieri can welcome back Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs after they missed last round through suspension. Jamie Vardy, however, is still unavilable after the red card received against Arsenal.
West Ham meanwhile are in good form having won three matches in a row.
Manuel Lanzini is still a doubt while Pedro Obiang is back after suspension but Bilic will probably adopt the same line up that defeated Swansea on Boxing Day.
A return to King Power Stadium should boost Leicester's chances of taking points from this clash, indeed they have only lost twice on home soil this season but considering Hammers' good form a draw could be the right choice here in a match where goals should not be missing.

Chelsea will equalize the record for the biggest amount of consecutive wins in Premier League (kept by Arsenal since 2001/2002 season) if they beat Stoke City.
Chelsea's 3-4-3 has been perfect till now: defense is extremely solid and the few shoot attempts conceded are constantly neutralized by Curtois while the offensive phase can count again on Diego Costa who missed previous round through suspension.
The Potters are actually unbeaten in their last three meetings with Chelsea and the Blues have only scored a single goal in four of the last six clashes between the sides at Stamford Bridge but in our opinion is hard to see Stoke stop such a strong and motivated Chelsea.

Manchester United have started to collect good results also in Premier League lately.
The convincing wins over Tottenham, Crystal Palace, West Brom and Sunderland have revamped Red Devils'ambitions and they are now ready to fight for a place in the next Champions League.
Mourinho's idea to place Carrick and Herrera along with Pogba has been a great tactical move: Pogba is more incisive and his shoots attempts have clearly increased.

There is not a lot to say here: Middlesbrough, involved in the relegation battle, have few chances to get away Old Trafford with a positive result.

Southampton collapsed 1-4 against Tottenham on Wednesday and that defeat has interrupted Saints' series of four UNDER 2.5 GOALS in a row in home matches.
In our opinion this match will be characterized by few goals because Saints's defense is usually quite solid, especially at St. Mary's while West Brom are the team with more UNDER 2.5 GOALS collected when playing away in the season.
Moreover, Nathan Redmond is suspended after the red card received against Tottenham and that reduces a lot home side's offensive potential.

Swansea are four points below the safety and need to collect vital points as soon as possible.
There have been 29 goals shared in their last six matches but Swansea have only scored seven of those.
Bournemouth are undergoing a bad period too: they have lost three of their five matches in December.
Away from home, they have lost four of their last five matches.
Swansea have won two of their last three at home and have won three of their last four home matches against Bournemouth.
The departure of Bradley could give home side a little boost in a very tough match.

Liverpool-Manchester City is expected to be a very nice show: two top teams both fighting for the league in the wonderful Anfield Road.
Jurgen Klopp has given Reds great enthusiasm and a very efficient offensive gamestyle.
Liverpool indeed have the best attack of the whole league with 45 goals scored but defensive phase can still be improved.
Manchester City have recently found a good form as proven by the three wins in a row and Aguero is finally back after the 4 rounds suspension but also here the defense usually committs too many mistakes.
We set Liverpool favourite in a match where lots of goals are expected considering both sides offensive potential.
